The portal is members-only. Registration requests are reviewed by the GGON Secretariat before access is granted.

What it is not

A curated commons, not a publishing platform

The portal's value is in surfacing work that already exists. Where a resource lives elsewhere, such as Global Energy Monitor, a member's own site, or a government register, the portal links to it and tags it, rather than copying it. An external link is a first-class entry with its own summary, tags and translations.

How the portal works

Requesting access

1Submit the registration form with your organisation and how you expect to use the portal.
2The request enters the Secretariat's membership queue: it is not granted automatically.
3An Administrator approves, declines, or asks for more detail.
4You receive an email with a link to set your password.
