A curated, cross-organisation library of analysis, policy briefs and narratives built to support the global effort to phase out fossil fuels.
The Fossil Fuel Phase Out Research Portal is a shared knowledge infrastructure for the organisations, researchers and advocates working to end fossil fuel expansion. It brings together outputs from across the network in one searchable, filterable space, so the right evidence reaches the right hands at the right moment.
The portal is not a publishing platform. It is a strategic commons: a place to find the analysis that already exists, surface the arguments that need amplifying, and identify where evidence gaps remain. Submissions from network members are welcomed and reviewed before appearing in the library.

How to find what you need
Research
Browse the full library of network outputs: reports, policy briefs, data analyses, infographics and more. Filter by geography, value chain stage, content type or publication year.
Narratives
Living documents maintained by the Communications Working Group: the story, the evidence behind it, and the messages that land.
Advanced Search
Boolean keyword search across eleven filter dimensions, running over PostgreSQL full-text indexes. Searches can be saved and re-run.
Trackers
Continuously updated records of emerging events: licensing rounds, policy reversals, consultation deadlines.
Submission Hub
Submit research in four steps. Submissions enter a review queue and appear in the library only once approved.

Demo dataset
The library ships with a seeded set of sample resources, syntheses, narratives and trackers so the portal can be explored end to end before the network's own content is loaded.
Translation scope
The interface chrome, including navigation, labels and buttons, is available in English, French, Portuguese and Spanish. Member-submitted research is never machine-translated; it stays in the language it arrived in.
The AI Assistant is a placeholder
Its navigation entry and page are built so nothing needs redesigning later, but the assistant itself is a separately commissioned option.
Messages are private by design
Administrators can act on a reported message but cannot browse member correspondence: a deliberate constraint enforced in the data layer, not just hidden in the interface.
